We had a little gathering at WELS last Christmas Eve before our usual worknightday started. We brought in good food, exchanged gifts, and posed for pictures while Jacques played old school songs. It was fun. Actually, it was the best time I’ve spent with all of them within office walls. Well, there’s nothing much you can do inside there anyway so I take such event so highly.

Sadly, it was also Ice’s last day in the company. She’s one of my close friends there and I like her personality. In my few nights out with WELS people, she was always there and we’d go smoke together whenever our break schedules met so we pretty had many conversations already. I’m gonna miss her, her laugh and her many stories. I also found it good that everyone was in a hurry to catch Noche Buena at home after class because there were no overrated goodbyes for her. That would’ve made me cry.

I was lucky to have a straight two-hour break so I was able to mingle with most of them as we ate. Shempre madami din pictures. So here…

Like in any work place, I am friendly with most of the people but I’m very close to just a few. In WELS, my best buddies are Angel and Andy. There used to be a quartet – Jing was the fourth girl but she left a month ago and that made me sad too. But I survived with just Andy and Angel. Three months of friendship and we’ve known so much about each other.

Aside from them two, I’m also starting to get to know two new buddies EQ and Sarah. I like them. They’re fun! Sarah was the unproclaimed Star of the Night with a unanimous decision. Sayang we did not prepare an award.

And this is Jacques, our Coordinator. I’ve known him since the first day I stepped on WELS’ carpeting and he, together with Angel, was the reason why I got accepted in WELS despite the manager’s skepticism. He’s not the typical stiff guy in position – he’s cool and approachable as you can see. I like him! Also, I like his girlfriend Grace (too bad I don’t have a picture of us together). She’s cool! I find a lot of similiarities between them two so I hope they stay together long.

I’m gonna spend some more months with them next year so I look forward to more good times like the Christmas Eve thing. They are very good people and I hope we’ll stay friends way beyond WELS’ plain walls and controversial management. *Ooops!* That’s all. Merry Christmas people!
