Whoa! My legs still hurt and I still feel dry and dirty. Last night was amazing but exhausting. It was the event that Bryan convinced me to go to after giving me a litany of all the times I turned his inviations down. I didn’t wanna go for a lot of reasons but being in a party with him again was enough to reconsider. And I made the right choice because it felt so good to be there!

The day started with me forgetting my mobile phone at home when the original plan was I’d meet them in World Trade Center after I was done with WELS. Of course it would be impossible to find them without my phone so I gave them my options. In the end they decided to just fetch me in Ortigas at 11PM. Cool! Plus, Rhea managed to put us in the guest list so it was great to have saved 6000Php for our five tickets. Judging from there, I knew we’d have a good time and I began to feel excited.

Mary, Bryan and Rhea arrived in Ortigas at around 11:30PM and from there we went straight to World Trade Center in Pasay. We then met up with Rhea’s friend Mike and then accidentally bumped into Bhu and Dennis. I was supposed to text them once we were all inside but I found them also looking in awe at the long lines that were on the tent’s entrance. It was the queue for security inspection. Supposedly, those with different kinds of passes (VIP, regular, guest list) had separate queues but they kept changing instructions so it was quite irritating. After almost an hour on the inspection lines, we finally got a hold of our wrist tags and went straight inside the tent. We were so thirsty for beer so Rhea and I got ourselves drinks right away.

Blake Jarrell was the one playing when we got in. I liked his sound because it was not very heavy. When we were all inside, I finally met Bryan’s friends Dhess and Gid. They were a very nice couple and they looked very sweet together. The place was still not that crowded so it was easy for us to sneak into the very front row. I could see Blake (he looked good) from my spot very well and the I could see the lasers touch my hands when raised. I liked it!

Armin appeared at around 2AM. The crowd went wild. Well, I went on with it. Honestly, I don’t know his music and I was only there for the party so I barely recognized any of the songs he played. Well, actually, I did recognize one, “Going Wrong”, but I d idn’t know it was his. I just knew I heard it before. The lights, the fireworks and the people were amazing that at one point after the fireworks went out, I felt like I was in a New Year’s Eve countdown.

After two hours of nonstop dancing, we got very tired so we settled at the very back to freshen up. The venue looked very pretty when viewed as a whole from the back. I stared blankly at it while watching the whole place change colors. I was only disappointed because the confetti showered on the middle of the crowd instead of upon us in front. Well, we got the perfect view of the fireworks, though. Only I missed to take a video of it.

Bhu and Dennis left the place at around 3AM (Thank you guys for going with us. I enjoyed spending time with you again). We left the place at 4AM. Bryan didn’t want to leave yet but I was really tired and hungry and my eyes and head hurt from being hit countlessly by the lasers.
