Now that’s another waste.
I mean, c’mon – Look at the “Bye Bye” video which was also directed by Nick Cannon! It looks like a college project with an irrelevant storyline. “I Stay In Love” is a heartbreak song and I hope the video will be aligned with it and not look like a preview of an ostentatious life in Vegas. I envision the proper video to be like “My All” or “We Belong Together” – mellow, movie-like and artistic. The Las Vegas setting to feature “amazing nightclubs, the stunning but treacherous desert, hot cars and of course beautiful people” just doesn’t match – it should be for “Migrate”.
I don’t hate Nick Cannon but this song has so much potential to be played around with. Anyway, I hope it turns out to be unexpectedly good and I’d be happy to eat my words. Listen to the song after the jump and imagine the perfect video for it.
