When I saw Vern last Thursday in front of my office building, he invited me to go to Alchemy with Lhen and the guys. At first I wasn’t sure because all-night drinking is no longer my preferred way to spend my precious weekend. But then, it’s been a while since I last got drunk so I thought it was about time.

Last Friday, actually, I was still hesitant to go but I found out that Kaye and RJ confirmed and it’s been months since we last went for a night out. That was a very rare moment so I agreed.

RJ forgot about the night out. She fell asleep. If I did not call her while we were on the cab, she would have dozed off and missed the night. She might had been skeptical whether we would still go because we left Manila so late (1130PM). She came to Alchemy two hours later.

When Lhen and I got there, we were advised that we were on the guest list under somebody else’s name (let’s call him R). So at the reception I told the girl about it. Fucking thing was, R was right behind the girl and we had no idea so R looked at us trying to figure out who we were. He just said “Nasa guest list ko sila pero di ko naman sila kilala.” Hahaha! OMG! We were still given entry and the girl must have remembered me during my previous visits so she said that we were friends of the bartender (thank you girl). And to be courteous, I greeted R a good evening and smiled. He smiled back and we went upstairs. Dyahe.

Liezel had to work that night but when she found out that the plan pushed through, she filed a leave, left the office and followed us to the club. Hahaha! And it’s because of her that we have pictures of that night.

After Alchemy, we decided to stop by Malate to visit the White Party. Back when we were in college, we’d go to the White Party every year and last Saturday, it was cute to eventually find out that we were unexpectedly reunited during the Gay Pride weekend again. But I was so drunk and there were lots of people in the streets of Malate. I threw up along Adriatico while searching for an online ATM. Another dyahe. But they love me so we just settled down Hap Chang and had breakfast.

I always say this: no matter how long we spend our times apart, we always come back to each other like we never went separate ways. That’s my SPMF. Thanks guys. I had a fun night.
