I haven’t been blogging and this is slowly turning into a Mariah Carey fansite. That’ll stop and I’ll put up some more sensible stuff this weekend since I filed for a Friday vacation (and Thursday’s a holiday here) so I’ll have five days off. I don’t plan to go on a vacation. I wanna spend time at home, do some chores, mingle with my family and be productive.

Will go back to work in a minute. Last shot in a string of Mariah posts… She’s becoming Eminem a man in her new video for Obsessed! I found these pics. They look really freaky but the vid should be funny!

Whoa! Back up… I can’t take too much of it. I’m so happy she’s a girl because that man gives me the creeps. Anyway, get a relief with her beautiful self once again. If only that necklace doesn’t look too girly, I’ll get one (as big as that) with my name on.

Do you remember Regina George? That blonde bitch from Mean Girls, yes! Her famous line inspired this new Mariah Carey song which premiered hours ago – it’s called “Obsessed” and it’s the lead single from her new album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.” Diba ang profound ng title. From what I heard of the song, not to be too nega, it’s quite monotonous and less appealing for a carrier single. The song is well-produced and its rhythm reminds me of “Migrate” from the last album (which I thought was a waste for not being released commercially) particularly with the use of vocoder. But it sort of loses life when it hits the chorus and you only wish that it grows on you to like the song as it nears the end. You will naman when she starts belting adlibs and hits those high notes. And for sure you’ll get hooked on that powerful line “why are you so obsessed with me?”

As much as I want her to be big, Mariah has a long shot at #1 with this one. But it’s a nice pick to cause a stir in celebrity blogs and magazines – who is she talking about? Eminem? I’m hoping this gets much hype and success. We’ve long waited for her to officially be hailed the all-time queen of #1′s in Billboard magazine! Hehe… Listen to the song below.

There’s so much going on at work now that I don’t have time to update this blog anymore. Kaye was well-informed of my booze-filled days during the past two weeks but contrary to his impression, my life was still 80% work-work-work. I can’t even get out that state of mind that even while I’m being lazy at home, I think of things I need to learn to improve myself. Seriously, I’ve become neurotic about learning lots of stuff.

This entry doesn’t make much sense. I’m not in a blog mood lately and I can’t write stuff that way. And, yes Bhu, I’m still hooked on Resto City and Farm Town so that sort of eats up my down time – I keep rearranging stuff in my restaurant. What else? Hmm… I can’t think of anything more to say. I just woke up in the middle of the night remembering to close down my resto, eat a little snack and now I’m going back to sleep. It was a long and good weekend and I still got one more day off.

It’s been almost three weeks. Yet it doesn’t take the top spot for the longest blog hiatus I’ve ever taken. Now I’m back with not too so much news but I wanna talk about something I’ve just gotten myself hooked on lately.

When I started using Facebook, the first game I played was YoVille. For weeks I was so eager to log in almost every six hours to earn money, buy clothes for my avatar and of course, decorate my apartment. After getting bored with its unusable decorations (like an expensive bed you can’t even sit on), I moved on to another game – Pet Society. Up until now I still have my pet Pumpkin. What I like about it are the cute clothes, the sofas and beds that the pet actually uses, the food and my favorite is the race at the Stadium. They actually run, fall and jump over hurdles. So cute!

Just early this week I started playing two new games:

Restaurant City – its cute little people walking in and out of the resto is so irresistable. Playfish, also the creator of Pet Society, really does well with cute graphics. Even their quizzes have very good pictures (I love GeoChallenge). Although the avatars look a  bit weird, they are so funny when they move. But this game needs a bit of your attention since you need to clean the bathroom often and feed your workers. And when you leave them for too long, like overnight, you’ll see when you get back that your workers are lying on the floor dying for food and rest. Haha!

Farm Town – this one is quite easy to play. I convinced Kaye to play this with me and he liked it. There was a time when he called me on my mobile phone asking me to check his account because there was a power outage in their area and his Grapes were past harvest time and were about to spoil. Haha! He’d login often to check his farm. Me… Well, I don’t need to worry about my farm too much because yesterday I planted crops that get harvested in 3 days. Harvest time will be on Monday.

I admit there were times when I had to delay my meals and some stuff to do because I had to plow my field, plant crops, check my workers… Haha! But I easily grow tired of these stuff especially when I find a new one that gets my attention. Give me a week more and the hype will die down.
