Yesterday, along with the Hayden Kho and Katrina Halili sex video (I’ve seen it and it’s real but I won’t post it here), I stumbled upon this – the New Moon official movie poster.

It looks beautiful and sort of tells what much of the story is about. To those who don’t know, I’m the newest overaged Twilight fan who still smiles at this high school love story. About a month ago I watched the movie (for the first time) and liked it. It impressed the kid in me so I asked Celle to lend me the books. I read the first book last week and two days ago I just finished reading New Moon. This weekend I plan to read Eclipse.

They say Twilight is the new Harry Potter. I don’t know about that – I guess they the movie should step up its visual effects especially now that werewolves are involved. The Harry Potter franchise is essentially about these superb visual effects having magic and wizards as its backbone and the past five movies have been impressive. I want Twilight to reach the same level of bongga or greatness in terms of screenplay and visual effects. And for goodness sake, can they make Kristen Stewart (Bella) stop biting her lips when speaking please? She’s very pretty but the lip action is distracting.

And this is why I like Jacob better than Edward. Amazing!

Now that’s a way to get people excited! He has improved his physique significantly and that’s remarkable. There goes another inspiration to make me hit the gym. Haha!

This truly made me cry. I remember Mommy.

I miss my Mom. I forgot to greet her Happy Mothers’ Day. I don’t think I chimed in that same sentiment with everybody last weekend. No, I haven’t forgotten her. Maybe not talking about it was a way not to be reminded of the fact that I no longer have a mother.

But then I woke up last Sunday to lots of text messages saying “greet your Mom happy mothers’ day for me” so that fact was rubbed in quite well. It pierced my heart. I wanted to reply “Okay I will and I’ll tell her to personally thank you, too.” but then, I can’t make them be more sensitive about it. They don’t know how it feels to lose that very important person at a young age. They don’t know how it feels to find the answers to your own questions about life and how to live it. And they don’t know how it feels to be scared and not have a mother to run to and put you to sleep. Besides, I’m sure they meant sincere well wishes.

Three years since she left, I’ve taught myself to stay strong and act strong. But there’s always that hard-headed kid inside who longs for a mother’s hug. That kid who won’t stop crying until his mother takes him to her arms in that distinct embrace. So today, with much awareness of how important she really is, I do it. Mommy, Happy Mothers’ Day. I love you and I miss you so much.

In the end, it’s these small things that you remember. The little imperfections that make them perfect for you.

Last week, Georgina Sparks re-appeared in Gossip Girl as a reformed girl who has found the light in Christianity. She stayed in a religious camp where Chuck visited her to confirm a lie about Serena’s new boyfriend. That story was continued in this week’s episode where Georgina joined Chuck back to the city to make peace with Blair and ask her for forgiveness. She really looked like a good girl.

Knowing Blair, she doesn’t forgive so quickly. As a price to pay, she asked Georgina to join them in scheming against Serena’s scammer friend Poppy. Sincerely, Georgina agreed. And that’s where all the twist and drama happened. In the end, the simplest yet the best dialog between two bitches in recent TV history happened.

*Georgina (at the back of a taxi cab) calls Blair on her cellphone.*
*Blair (outside the police station) talking to Nate.*

Georgina: Hello Blair!
Blair: Georgina? You don’t sound like yourself.
Georgina: That’s funny because I feel more like myself now than ever!
Blair: Where are you?
Georgina: Doing what you obviously couldn’t.
Blair: I don’t think Jesus would approve of that.
Georgina: Well, you can tell Jesus that the bitch is back!

*Georgina hangs up and puts her sunglasses on. Instructs the taxi driver…*

Georgina: Follow that car!

*Blair is dumbfounded with her mouth open.*

Georgina’s back everybody! I like her. I like bad girls in series, you know. They’re beautiful, smart and they throw the most powerful lines. And they seem to get away with everything until the very end of the series. Well of course, they also die the ugliest death or suffer from the most humiliating moment. People like it.

Season 2 of Gossip Girl ends in two weeks. After that, we all have to suffer withdrawal for three months until Season 3′s premiere in August. I like Gossip Girl because even though there’s just a few characters and they’ve been making too many twists and turns to prolong the story, unexpected things still happen in the end. It works!

God is so good and He wanted us to take this vacation. The sun shone brightly and hot on Sunday morning after hiding behind rain clouds all week. It’s Monday night and I just got home from Lucena where Eric very sweetly accommodated me, Jeyelle, Jerome and RJ in Pueblo por la Playa – literally the most colorful resort I’ve been in.
