Whew! It was one busy week at work and I’m glad it’s over. Weekend’s here but I won’t go out tonight for a change. I feel like staying here. I bought something to read in the supermarket this evening so I’ll prepare myself some good food, sit by the bed and let time fly. I’m gonna savor that unusually peaceful moment when I am not hurrying myself into something. Hehe… Supposedly, it’s Jeyelle’s party tonight but she cancelled yesterday for her sister’s graduation. A blessing in disguise, I should say.
Lately there’s nothing much to blog about. It makes me conclude that students have much more time and exciting blogworthy experiences and it’s like they are not yet bound by fear that a certain someone would read something he/she shouldn’t know. I mean, they can always excuse themselves from just about anything. Back in college my blog was updated almost everyday. From the littlest thing to badmouthing somebody I didn’t like – they were all written down. And back then I was partying three nights a week at least that’s why I had lots to say. Aaah… Those were the days. Somehow I’m happy I’ve already outgrown that phase.
What can I say now… Hmmm… I miss my friends. We don’t go out anymore. Last Saturday I saw Gilbert in Malate but we didn’t stay together that long because we had to transfer to another bar. Kaye invited us over to their new house but after Jeyelle cancelled today’s event, I didn’t feel like going out anymore, maybe because I anticipated this evening differently. And since it didn’t happen, I’d just settle for its opposite. Get it? No? Hehe… Me neither.
Anyway… I’ll end this nonsense here. OH! FYI… My all-time favorite SEX AND THE CITY will finally be featured on the big screen. Yes! A movie. They’ve been planning to do that since the series ended in 2004 and after several problems, it’s finally going to happen. All four of them – together again. Cool! I wonder what the two-hour story will be. I hope it won’t disappoint the audience because the story was so successful on TV and people surely have great expectations.
