Here it is! It’s finally here. The music video for my ultimate happy song is finally released. This jumpstarts my day, keeps my hyped up on the street and lets me walk fast. The video looks amazing! Brilliant! Are those interactions with the light real or part of the special effects? I don’t know what it’s called but I remember in Eastwood Cinema there used to be pebbles projected on the floor. And when you step on them or kick them, they break apart and then fall back together. They’re projected images that react to physical movements. It was so cool! I don’t know how it’s possible but I loved it. Wish we had that that in more places.
Anyway, here’s the video. Congratulations, Kylie! Perfect video for a very very very good song!
Welcome to the new age of music video ideas! This is amazing and bold! “All The Lovers” by Kylie Minogue.
Simply put, the video is a pyramid of almost-naked boys and girls making out (in an empty city and broad daylight) with Kylie on top singing the song. Oh and don’t forget the giant balloon elephant. Fabulous! If you aren’t so conservative and you don’t wear a chastity belt, you’ll get good vibes just by watching it. It’s a feel-good sight and sound.
But as much as I love the song/video, I don’t think the Philippines is ready for it. I’ll be happily surprised to see it on MTV Philippines or MYX being shown unedited. But whatever, as proud and empowered as I am for my personality, I’m not here to advocate homosexuality. There are a lot of other times and channels for that. Right now, I’m here to say I love this song and this video and you should watch it. Now feel good and enjoy!
OMG! Here it is now. Every girl/gay in the land is waiting for this.
Aidan is in this movie! It’s interesting.
LHEN! You just promised me you’d watch this with me. I won’t forget that. I thought of you when Samantha said “We made a deal ages ago. Men, babies – it doesn’t matter. We’re soulmates.” This is one movie that should be watched with friends and not with your boyfriend. I don’t think H would take you to this anyway. Hehe.
Yay! It’s been a while. I don’t know how many more times I’m gonna have a comeback and say it but right now I found a bit of time to write something. It’s not something personal but I like this one.
Here is the trailer for the movie Twilight Saga: Eclipse!
I’ve read the four books of Twilight and among them, Eclipse is my favorite and I have high expectations from the movie. This installment got most of it: drama, romance, action, and a bit of comedy. To those who haven’t read the book, it’s action-filled because an army of vampires, lead by Victoria, is out to attack Forks to kill Bella. Victoria is the lover of James, the vampire who bit Bella in the first movie and who Edward’s family killed. She thinks the best revenge for the death of her love is to kill Bella, the love of Edward. And the love triangle is on its peak with Eclipse. I feel so high-school-young narrating it. Haha!
June 30 is the play date – less than a year after New Moon hit the theaters.
This is the video of what started it all. I wasn’t able to watch it this afternoon because I was resting. Thank goodness for people who dedicate time to record and share this with everyone.
And moments later, here’s a video of Annabelle Rama who called in at Showbiz Central commenting about the “The Buzz Incident” plus more.
Of course I’m just another viewer with an opinion. I am not a fan of Kris Aquino. I actually kind of agree with Lourd de Veyra of Radioactive Sago Project, who compared Kris Aquino to “a car accident on SLEX—it’s horrible but you can’t look away.” From what I see on TV, she’s annoying but interesting to watch. But in this case, I think she meant her comment to be a joke. It’s more like how friends tease each other. Laglagan kumbaga. And we like it when celebrities do it on air – just like in Showtime. But then again, we don’t know if Kris and Ruffa are in joking terms or if they usually exchange that kind of jokes. And maybe Ruffa loves The Buzz so much that jokes with reference to her impending departure from the show, even thrown affectionately, still hurt. Parang kaibigan na nakipag-break with someone he/she seriously loves – pag biniro mo the next day, mapipikon talaga.
But the Annabelle Rama video, grabe naman. If Kris was like a car accident, Annabelle was like a 20-storey building getting demolished. She was scary but entertaining. Her comments were out of line and irrelevant. For something that started as a misunderstood joke, I think she said too much. Well, she’s Annabelle Rama anyway.
I like Ruffa Gutierrez. When I see her on TV, I like how she handles a conversation, how she moves, and how she dresses. But I think the situation was blown out of proportion. Kris should say sorry, though. You say sorry to anyone you offend, even if you originally meant something as a joke. What do you think?
UPDATE:
As everyone knows, this issue is now over. Both parties have made up.
Read their public statements after the jump.
Mariah released two new videos today. And they’re no H.A.T.E.U.! These videos were greatly produced, shot and edited. The concept didn’t require unnecessary flaunting of skin and they’re very interesting to watch. In short, they’re beautiful! They’re the Mariah videos I really liked since Touch My Body.
Here’s Angels Cry featuring Ne-Yo.
And here’s the funny Up Out My Face featuring Nicki Minaj
Both songs are included in new remix album Angels Advocate.
Mariah announced late last year that she’ll be releasing a remixed version of Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. Two of them. All songs in Memoirs will have an R&B remix and a dance remix by Jump Smokers. And yesterday, two R&B remixes were leaked online: Up Out My Face and Angels Cry.
When the original album was released, Angels Cry was my instant favorite. It has that infecting first verse that lures you to listen to the song. But after the first chorus, the song becomes tired and monotonous and it’s like you know what to expect in the end. So you either press rewind to go back to the beautiful first verse or forward to the next song. But nonetheless, Angels Cry has the best lyrics and melody in Memoirs.
I like Ne-Yo. “Go On Girl” and “Mad” are on my playlist until now. He writes good songs with catchy melodies. And his participation in this remix solves the problem with the original. Some don’t agree but I think Ne-Yo, with the type of songs he sings, is the perfect duet partner for Angels Cry. When he started singing, the piano and bass made the song sound like one of his originals and his change of melody is like a good second start. Generally, this duet is good. I hope it gets to #1 on Billboard.
This is love! I remember the first one. I watched it alone because Piglet had a lot to do that day and was too tired to go with me to Greenbelt. All my close friends were either unavailable (and it was Friday night!) or were planning to watch it with someone else that weekend so I had no choice but to go alone. I’ve already got two seats reserved but paid for just one. Of course, no one bought the seat beside me. The entire row in front of me was bought by a happy group of friends which made me feel even more alone. I headed to the movie house fifteen minutes ahead so it wouldn’t be filled with people yet. I didn’t wanna get noticed walking in by myself to watch a romantic-comedy chic flick. That would’ve made me feel worse than being a loser I already was.
I watched the series when it still aired in HBO. I bought seasons 1 to 6 DVDs to watch during my downtime at home. Surely I won’t miss this second film. And I won’t let Piglet bail out on me this time.
I’m a sucker for kilig moments on TV or film. Those scenes when two people are starting to realize they like each other and finding a way to get the message across. Nothing beats the sight of that deep stare on a first date! And because of that, I’m now the newest fan of Melason. Last Monday’s PBB episode was the most authentic super kilig moment I’ve seen on TV. It was funny and totally unassuming. I don’t see the showbiz factor in them that’s why they appeal much to me. I keep watching it on YouTube.
Very very busy guy. Very ambitious. Developing workaholic. In a committed relationship. At continuous work towards achieving goals. Firm believer of positivity and determination. That works all the time! Trying to mix it all up without losing sanity, sparkle and fun.
